  1. Enjoyed it. I found myself wanting to engage in the conversation as well, even though I wasn't there. Especially, of course, when I was mentioned!

    Learning and teaching Irish, for me, is also quite a lot about linguistics as well as interest in Irish culture. Guinness and potatoes just doesn't cut it :) and I find quite a lot of appreciation from other Irish people for doing so.
    That said, I don't think it should be forced on anyone. Forcing a language on people can be just as detrimental as disparaging one or not allowing for its use.
    Who should learn Irish then, if not the people who actually want to?

    I went to Shane's Youtube channel and favourited one of his videos.. a satire about the detriments of straight sex in society. Very good.
